Arventis Marine has completed a tonnage measurement assignment supporting the Isle of Man registration of a motor vessel under 24 metres, carried out in Trondheim, Norway.
Working to the simplified measurement method for small craft, Arventis coordinated the assignment in close collaboration with Bora Yachting, whose IIMS-appointed measurer performed and certified the measurement. Arventis assembled the registry-ready documentation and managed liaison with the registry through to a certified result.
The engagement was delivered under our Technical Assurance line, which pairs an independent appointed measurer with Arventis acting as coordinator and documentation lead — a structure that keeps the measurement in qualified, authorised hands while giving the client a single point of contact and one coherent engagement from enquiry to certificate.
For an owner, the value is in the clarity. Tonnage measurement sits on the path to registration, and the surrounding documentation — the certificate of survey, the application pack, the carving and marking note — is where straightforward jobs stall. By owning the coordination and the paperwork, Arventis removes that friction: the figures are certified by an authorised measurer, the submission is prepared, and the owner is kept clear of the administrative detail.
This assignment reflects how Arventis approaches technical assurance generally — independent assessment where it counts, disciplined documentation throughout, and complete transparency on who does what. Whether the task is a pre-purchase survey, a condition assessment, or registration support, the method is the same: define what must be proven, coordinate the right expertise, and make the result demonstrable and defensible.
