Arventis Marine carried out fuel consumption trials on three boats under consideration for a developing logistics operation between Tulcea and Sulina, Romania.
The assignment supported the client’s operational and commercial assessment ahead of a potential purchase. Each boat underwent an approximately two-hour trial, sailing from Tulcea to Sulina and returning to Tulcea, with fuel consumption and performance recorded during the runs.
Arventis supplemented the trial results with calculations for different loading scenarios, helping the client assess how the boats could perform under the proposed operating conditions.
The work brought measured performance and scenario-based analysis together to support a better-informed vessel selection and operating plan.
